George Nelson Ball and Sunflower Clocks
In 1947 George Nelson made the first clocks for the Howard Miller Company. There is approximately 150 vintage clock designs. The first design was the Ball Clock 4755. All George Nelson clocks were electric. The George Nelson design was discontinued in the 1980’s but Vitra picked the line up in the 90’s.

Most of the clocks were sold with a variety of different colors. The Sunflower clock was sold in three different colors and the Ball clock was sold in six different colors.
